Royal Nature salt mix is an ideal salt for the reef aquarium. While other mixes use salt that is mined from deep deposits within the Earth, Royal Nature uses evaporated ocean water take from the Red Sea. Starting with sea water, our salt contains only trace elements that occur naturally within the ocean, preventing a build up of underwater metals and chemicals. The result is a salt mix with an excellent balance of nature occurring trace elements which are beneficial to our aquarium.
Using small-batch processing in a closely supervised environment allows Royal Nature to achieve uniformity in our salt mix. This means that the major and minor elements within each and every bucket are always the same providing you with a more stable system.

It is well know that balanced relationship between calcium, alkalinity and magnesium will increase coral growth and coloration. We developed our formula to closely match the levels of Nature Sea Water (NSW), where your fish and corals come from. Unlike other brands of salt, we pay special attention to levels of potassium which are believed to promote the deepest, richest purple/blue colors in your corals.
We only use pharmaceutical grade additives to supplement the evaporated salt such as ammonia free magnesium chloride from the Dead Sea. Further, our salt-mixing process transfers minimal heat which could otherwise change the chemical composition with our formula of ionically balanced elements result in a salt that mixes completely and quickly leaving no residue.
